Does Cubik Studio work offline after it has been activated? [Solved]

I was about to buy Cubik Studio but then I read the TOS and found this:

Cubik Studio needs an Internet connection at launch (for registration and updates checking), but a permanent Internet connection is not required.

Does that mean that it requires an Internet connection on every start or only for activation and when I want to check for updates?

The reason I am asking is that I like modeling during long distance train travels but in the area I live in, mobile Internet is very bad and often not available at all, so if I want to start up Cubik Studio on the train, it would have to start without Internet as it simply is not possible to get an Internet connection.

If this is not possible, I am not going to buy Cubik Studio.

Yes it needs the internet conection only at the first launch and when checking for updates... i often had a situation where i had no internet but it still worked...
I'm not fully sure but if you need help, you can also ask sphax on twiter.

I have purchased Cubik and once the registration was complete, I disconnected my computer from the Internet to test if it still starts up and it did start just fine.
