I'm just coming back from a long break since using Cubik Pro and now I have Cubic Studio. It seems the application has changed a bit but one thing that is really bothering me is the built-in file browser. It is small, clunky, unclear how to use, and worst of all, doesn't provide image previews.
Cubik Pro used to just use the native file browser to handle files (or perhaps just the windows one, forget if it was windows-exclusive back then) which allowed the full functionality of the Windows Explorer open dialog while fetching your files.
It would be nice if in the future, Cubik could just implement the native file browser. Not that I know much about it all, but I assume it would be simpler to hook into the system utility rather than try to implement all the features from native browsers that users could just keep asking for.
Revert to native file browser [Solved]
Re: Revert to native file browser [Solved]
This is already an option:
At the top select tools > preferences
Under the 'general' tab tick tick 'Use Native file browser if possible'
At the top select tools > preferences
Under the 'general' tab tick tick 'Use Native file browser if possible'
