Texture on a mesh

Post by IceGroose » 08 Feb 2017, 20:12

Hey there!

I made a .obj file in Blender and it includes a .mtl file with the textures of it. Is there a way I can import the model in Cubik studio, then voxelize it and after the make elements of them.

I am working with minecraft here so I can't keep them meshes.

Summary:
How to apply a texture to a mesh?

EDIT:
NVM about this question I got it all fixed by myself but there's one thing that does not seem to work (or is not intended to work). On MacOS Sierra I don't seem to be able to turn my model in the 3D View. I can pane it around but not rotate it to get a better look at it.

EDIT2:
The Top bar (the bar with he apple logo) is also invisible while using Cubik Studio, I don't know if this is intended or not.

Cubik Studio supports OBJ with MTL and PNG files. You just have to import the obj in and that's all.

Yeah I already found that out as stated in the edits, but can you also give me an answer to the questions which I posted in Edit 1 and Edit2?

1) You can rotate camera around model on MacOS just as well as on Windows or Linux. To rotate camera around model in 3D view, use Alt+Middle mouse button or Ctrl+Middle mouse button (if any) or Alt+Space or Ctrl+Space

2) The top bar is useless for Cubik Studio on MacOSX so it is hidden by default but you can still access it by moving your mouse on top of screen.
