Strange Shadows

So on my simple block, there's a few weird shadows (at least I think they're shadows...?) on only a couple edges of the block. I'm not sure if it's the model itself or the code in my mod that's causing it, but I figured I'd start here first. I'll provide a few pictures showing what I'm seeing. Any help is appreciated!
