Can i get a refund? Should have bought as gift! [Solved]

Hey!
My plan was i would buy this for my friend but i paid and forgot to check the checkbox off.
Can i get a refund so i can purchase it again as a gift ?

All purchasing as a gift does is let you enter an email address to send the activation link to. Upon receiving that link yourself you could have just given it to your friend instead of activating it yourself.

Can you not just give the account to your friend? They can then change the email, password and request a username change if necessary.

Would rather give him it as a gift so he could use it on his own account.
Also i don`t know if he would like the program as he thought it was a Voxel only program and i can see it`s not a Voxel only program so i would like to get a refund if it`s okay and if he likes the program i can gift him the program.

Like I said, gifting doesn't really do anything special besides send them the activation link instead of it being sent to you, yet you still activated the product yourself even though you stated you wanted to gift it. That doesn't really make sense.

If you really want to gift it we can transfer the key to his account, or you can give him your account and we can change the username.

Your reason for a refund isn't very sound and as the Terms of Sale state, you can't get a refund after you've downloaded and used the software.

Reason i would like a refund was because it`s a gift so i wanted to give him the key that way.
