Vertical Grid? [Solved]

Is there any way to apply a vertical grid like you have on the ground? Trying to make a block for Minecraft, you kind of have to guess at which height is correct. If there was a way to apply a vertical grid, it'd be easier to make things like normal sized 1x1x1 blocks. The one I just made turned out to be quite short even though in Cubik it seemed the size of a normal block. Just a suggestion!

Yeeeeeeah, I just realized I can use the "up" section of the view for vertical scaling... Nevermind
