Smooth Slopes in Minecratft

Post by Nonsanity » 12 Mar 2018, 01:05

I'm trying to make a modified smooth slope block for Minecraft similar to those from the Carpenter's mod and others like it. I'm guessing, after working at it for a bit, that this is not possible with Cubik. I could use only cubes by rotating one 45 degrees, but it would extend out of the block's bounds. Subtractive geometry would solve that, but that's another thing entirely. I have to look elsewhere for this, don't I?

You can create smooth slopes but for the sides you’ll need to create several elements to make a fake diagonal like you would do with pixels.

You should check XmasBDcraft which has sloped roofs with that method.
