Used my Cubik Pro key on an account that doesn't work [Solved]
Used my Cubik Pro key on an account that doesn't work
I tried to register a new account (2001zhaozhao) on the forums. My email service apparently was not receiving any emails from the website, no matter how many times I retry. Then I went to the account recovery page and typed my serial key in there, but that did not send an email, either. Now, I managed to register another account with a gmail account, but I can't use the key to upgrade my Cubik Pro anymore. I've been sending emails to the support team, so you know that it is mine also. Help?

Have you followed the guide to upgrade?: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14
Re: Used my Cubik Pro key on an account that doesn't work
I have, the problem is that I used up my Cubik Pro key on the other account (2001zhaozhao). I did not receive any emails no matter how many times I resend it (could be my email company's fault), and the account is still unactivated, so I can't access the upgraded copy of Cubik Studio. I just want to move that copy to this account

Bump, still unable to access my copy bound to my other account. I've retried the activation email yesterday, as well as just now. My email is correct, but my account is still unactivated because I never received any email on that address.

I forced re-activation of your other account so you should have received an email to activate it. You'll be able then to finish the guide to upgrade from Cubik Pro.

Re: Used my Cubik Pro key on an account that doesn't work
Well, my email at that account just doesn't work. The address is correct but it won't receive emails no matter what, for some reason. I did receive a reply from the support email that worked, but the automated ones weren't received at all. All I am asking is to either move the copy to this account, or change the email address of that account to something that can actually receive messages.Sphax wrote: 04 Nov 2016, 14:49 I forced re-activation of your other account so you should have received an email to activate it. Edit:
Clarification: I registered my other account on a foreign email (qq.com), and it won't receive any activation email. I tried to follow the upgrade guide, thinking that it would solve the problem. The recovery page said SUCCESS but I still hadn't received any emails. Now, I managed to register this account with gmail, but my Cubik Pro key is used to upgrade the other account, which can't be activated, unfortunately, because it simply doesn't receive any of the automated emails. I have checked my junk folder and made sure in the settings that all junk mails are moved to the junk folder instead of deleted, still nothing.
I have sent emails to the support team and got an answer in one of them, so you know that it's indeed a valid email. A couple solutions could include moving the copy over to this account, or simply force activate that account so I can change the email to something that works. I just can't solve the problem on my own because my Cubik Studio copy is essentially locked into an unactivated account which I can't access.

I tried to send two test emails to your qq.com email. Can you say if you received them?
I know you'd rather just have the serial moved to this account, but it'd be good to know if it's possible to get qq.com to work for us.
--EDIT--
I suspect one email may have made it, but the other may not as one failed due to:
http://service.mail.qq.com/cgi-bin/help ... no=1000725
That leads me to believe that qq.com throttle incoming emails quite heavily (it doesn't even suggest that it's dependent on which qq.com inbox the emails are going to...). It's a relatively poor anti-spam technique, really.
For verification reasons if you PM me your qq.com email address and your Cubik serial I will migrate your key to this account.

Yeah, I received one of the test emails. Maybe I shouldn't use a foreign email, but I have had no issues with other websites before. Maybe you can put a cooldown on requesting activation email so not many are sent at the same time.HanFox wrote: 04 Nov 2016, 22:46 I tried to send two test emails to your qq.com email. Re: Used my Cubik Pro key on an account that doesn't work
Well, the thing is, if you had requested 100 emails you'd still expect to at least get the first one.
I suspect qq.com limits incoming emails across their entire site from IPs though. It's an odd practice to do 1/60secs/IP, but what the hey.
Also, if we were to limit outgoing mails in any way that could mean that the queue for sending emails could become exponentially huge... After the original hump where everyone was requesting emails most people seem to now receive there's... soooo...
Regardless, I swapped over your details.
