Minecraft don't accept textures

Post by weisnicht2002 » 04 Nov 2016, 20:04

I did a stone sword model with the voxel tool, converted it to elements and exported it with the texture to minecraft. In minecraft I see the model but the texture isn't on it. Instead there is the purple /black texture. Can somebody help me to get the right texture?

Because the texture either isn't in the right place / was renamed.

What version of MC are you making textures for? Can you provide some JSON, the names of your textures or an example resourcepack? Have you checked Minecraft's log (you can enable it via your MC profile's settings)?

Just saying you get purple and black textures is basically useless as all anyone can do is guess.

Did you change the setting to export the textures beside the model? You kinda need that and a conversion from the palette to an atlas thing. Then you need to move the color atlas in your textures folder and if you want it renamed be sure to also change the text in the model which tells the elements to use that texture by changing the "atlas" thing at the top to your renamed texture. It's kinda weird and complicated I might say.
