Hey,
Just a quick question, I was wondering if it were possible to convert Elements back to Voxels?
The reason I ask is because I have a model created by importing a PNG file and I'd like to export as OBJ for use in Minecraft (there is a reason I've chosen OBJ in this case over JSON). The PNG imports into Cubik Studio as Elements, but I've read in the below thread that it is ideal to leave a model formatted as voxels with the "optimized mesh" option checked under the Meshes Settings tab when exporting to OBJ:
https://cubik.studio/forum/viewtopic.p ... 1759#p1759
So far the exported OBJ implements fine into Minecraft, its model renders correctly when held in the user's hand or on an Item Frame, but displays as the default pink/black texture in the shape of a standard block instead of the OBJ model when placed as a block.
Is it possible to convert Elements to Voxels?
Re: Is it possible to convert Elements to Voxels?
You can’t convert elements back to voxels.
It’s like asking to convert bitmaps back to vectors.
