Blasphemy.xe

While i was surfing around sketchfab cubik studio collecting i found some models by Blasphemy.xe:

The model itself dosen't suprise me that much since i can make something like that myself,
but the textures are phenomenal!
So i was wondering how to make textures as good as Blasphemy.xe?
Is he/she using voxels or elements?

I think he is using elements directly, not voxels or if he do he uses voxels for some parts when really needed only.

For information with Cubik you can paint directly on surfaces. ;)

Thanks also i think i figured it out.
He imports a png and then he tweaks the model a bit,
uses a few voxels, then he fixes the uv texture and done!
