Display Settings Malfunction  [Solved]

Post by SirYe » 06 Jul 2017, 21:12

I'm trying to create a handgun for a resource pack.

In my display settings, I have it positioned just as a I want it. I've clearly checked the export display settings in both the preview sections and in the model properties. It is correctly set to item (wooden hoe).

However, when I get into the game the display settings are completely off. I've tested in two different versions and the problem persists.

Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

EDIT: I've never had this type of problem. This only recently occurred right after I updated. I'm not sure it's the update's fault but I'll leave it here as some additional info.

EDIT 2: I tried exporting a model that was previously fine using the new version and the model turned out fine. Checked the model properties and it was the same. Also tried using that old model as a tool instead of what it was previously (carrot), also fine...

EDIT 3: MY GOD I FINALLY FIXED IT! Ok so the problem was that my model was made very small. As a result, display values would become very huge to get it right (like 20 or -12 or something). It would appear that although these large numbers work in cubik, it doesn't translate well into minecraft,
