Painting help, and how on earth to change Camera view - on a Mac? Edit: Solved!  [Solved]

EDIT: Wow, not five minutes after posting this, I figured it out. Ctrl + Space + click, and Ctrl + Opt + click both work to rotate the camera view, for anyone else wondering the same thing.

Hiya! I have the latest download for Cubik studio and have run into so far just two problems I can't seem to figure out, even with watching tutorials.

In the trailer for Cubik, it shows you painting on surfaces freeform. Whenever I try to paint my models, however, it scatters the design across ALL the different cubes I have that make up the model. I figure I must be missing a step somewhere, but haven't figured it out on my own yet :X

Second... This one drives me the most batty. How on earth do I change the camera view? Ie; rotate the whole model in the 3d space around so I can see it from other angles.

I saw the question posted before, but it received no answer. I accidentally changed the rotation view once and was delighted... then couldn't duplicate it. But now I know it can be done.

I've tried shift + click, crtl + click, cmd + click, and a few others out of desperation.

Is it because I am using a trackpad or something? I've been able to use all the other features just fine so far.

Hoping someone can help a noob out here. Thanks much!

When you paint directly on surface, you are editing the texture where you are clicking. If that texture is used on more than one face, then all faces are updated according to your own changes.

If you want to easily paint on the surface only where you clicked, you'll need to make the face use a unique part of the texture it uses. Cubik Studio can automatically compute that for you if you want. By going in the Elements Textures List (Material Manager), click "..." and then select "Create atlas (blank textures)" or "Create atlas (keep textures)". blank will create a texture atlas with proportional zones associated to each face while the other will create a texture with unique zones (even if not proportional) according to the existing UV.

To rotate camera, it's easier to use a mouse and its 3rd button (mouse wheel click). ;)
