Change UV Snap defaults for models/textures larger than 16px
Change UV Snap defaults for models/textures larger than 16px
Hoping this is something that might actually be possible, but need to know for sure. Right now I'm working on a few Minecraft models that are larger than 16px, so they go out of the center grid area. Not a problem in and of itself, except that every time I try to do a UV Snap, it treats every part of the object as though it's only 16px, and I end up with pieces on the top half using textures from the bottom half of the image. Is there a way to change the UV Snap so that it treats the image as being the full 32px that it is? Tried messing with Grid Settings, but was unable to get it to work with that.

UV Snap is an option to automatically map the texture to the middle zone, it not depends on its size and works with any texture size.
What you want if I understand you is an UV Snap option to map texture to the full available space. This is not something planned currently. You'll have to manually edit UV of the elements that are going outside the middle zone.
