Is the Linux version some how limited?

Post by PixelPi » 16 Feb 2017, 17:58

Hello,

is the Linux Version some how limited? I read:
If you need to export for Minecraft 1.8, be sure to use "CubikPro MC18.exe"
See: http://bdcraft.net/category/tags/3d

What exactly is Cubrik Pro? Do I only need it for Minecraft 1.8? I think I can't use it directly with Linux because it seems to be a Windows binary ("exe"). Sorry, I do not quite understand it. I'm just trying to figure out if it's important to me.

Are there any limits with the Linux version of Cubik Studio?

We are searching for a powerful tool to design models for Minecraft 1.10.2 and above. We are only using Linux. At the moment we use MagicaVoxel which runs perfectly under Wine. I have scripts to convert and import the MagicaVoxel models into Minecraft by using Minecraft's RCON interface. How will this work with CUBIK Studio?

Sorry, a lot of questions.

Regards

There are no limitations to Cubik Studio on Linux.

Cubik Studio doesn't currently support MC1.8 on any platform.

Cubik Pro is the old program and was only ever available on Windows.
