If i load a background for a view it doesn't show up.

It worked for me! Maybe yours was to big? (to high resolution)

could be lol, is there a way to scale the image aswell in the view?

No. It always gets squared - even if it was like 1920x1080 or so. You should use the Minecraft resolutions (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 etc.) if you want it to work perfectly.
