Rigging bones like Blender's

Post by Dziwko » 05 Dec 2016, 18:41

It would be great if you could add model rigging just like Blender's.

Tool type: Single
Tool name: Rigging bone
Tool icon: A white bone with orange-ish segment
Tool short description:
Adds bone to the scene you can move, rescale, rotate the bone.

Tool action on Left click:
Places bone to the clicked location

Tool action on Right click:
Rescale the bone

Note: The bones will be exported with the mesh, ready and rigged. It would be good if you add animating tho, but that is another story don't mind it for now :) .

Cubik Studio is a modeler, not an animator. Nothing planned on that for the moment.

But there is something wrong with Cubik exported objs in Blender, you can bone normally but the mesh doesn't follow the armature or bones.
Are there any known issues about it or is there a workaround to get it working?

There are no reason that exported OBJ from Cubik Studio would not be able to be rigged correctly... Many animators already do that and never reported such problem.

I think you do something wrong but can't help more without details on your issue and your model.
