It would make far more sense to generate the atlas texture at the point of export rather than when converting the voxels to elements.
Faces removed by the automatic face remover won't get exported to the atlas because they are turned off whereas currently they are placed on the atlas texture and not actually referenced by the model because the faces were removed after generating the texture.
It also means a voxel model can be made and converted to elements then another voxel model (potentially at a different resolution) can be made and merged with the first lot of elements and merged into the same texture

You can re-generate the atlas by going in Elements Material, click "..." and select "Generate atlas (keep textures)".

brilliant thanks. I wasn't aware this was a thing. Just tried it out though and it seems that the top faces of the elements are rotated 180 degrees after running it
