Function name: 1.8.9 Display
Function icon: :cubik: (like a check or button)

A checkbox where people can decide if they want models to export to 1.8 instead of 1.9+. It could be helpful to people who want to create models in studio but cant export to a version that works for them.

Ok, as this has been asked for so many times and it hasn't been added yet I want to make you a suggestion:

Somebody tell me the exact differences between 1.8 and 1.9+ Models and I will try to make a parser for them.

The diffrence between the models is nothing. All the issue is the display. to my idea its only head display that works in studio for 1.8.
But it would be nice if you could make a parser.
and yes i know a tool is made to fix this, but it pastes the display wierdly making the model break

Ok, does somebody maybe have a version of a model for 1.8 and 1.9+?
(If possible with relativly same ingame possitions) I need to know what the differences are so I can make it.

1.8 Compatibility / Load Cubik Studio 1.8 feature

Post by Grillby » 06 Jul 2017, 20:40

Cubik Studio has alot of good features, and is a HUGE improvement over Cubik PRO but... i have projects in the version 1.8, and i would be spectacular if Cubik Studio had 1.8 support cause it's heavily requested and asked about on the help forum and it would be a useful feature the feature could even be under tools and above preferences listed as "Load Cubik Studio 1.8" and just reload the program with the proper views and 1,8 exporting.. :cubik:
