When I map the texture on a model, it looks great - I save the .cubik file , close cubik, then re-open the model and the mapping is completely gone. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

So I have been getting this bug where when I uv map a texture unto a model it works fine and then I save it and re open the file and more than half the texture mapping is reset? Is this a bug because I haven't changed my settings but somehow this is happening? If anyone knows a fix I'd appreciate ...
