I replace it with the diamond sword json in the models folder and replace the diamond sword textures with my scythe texture but when i load that game it is not in the correct position and it is black and purple but i have also been using 1.11 what version is more easy to use.

So i got my item into the game but it has the black and purple texture what do i do.

Hi I keep trying to use multiple textures the one under neath the thing that says particles and when i put one in and add more to make my item it keeps giving me the same texture as the first block/texture i elected please help.
