I would like to know if it was possible to select several cubes at a time so as to copy paste.

You can select multiple elements with several ways:
- Right Ctrl + left click on each element
- Right Shift + left click pressed to draw a selection rectangle in 2D views
- Ctrl+A to select all elements
- Elements or Meshes list with Right Ctrl or Shift
