I get the following error when attempting to save a part file

in what format?
What version of Cubik do you have?

Thank you for respond to my forum post I must say, I'm not sure what version of it, it was downloaded as of 5/6/17, so whatever version that was for Window 10. I used it to develop texture for a server a work for.

the Cubik version and the build number is in Help > About

Please, can you send me the .CUBIK file so I can check what is happening?

Save your model as CUBIK file then in your post, attach the .cubik file you saved earlier

EDIT: Also, I see the path in the error is weird. Are you trying to save the file directly on a distant computer or hdd via network? If so, that's possible Cubik does not support that. In that, case save your file locally first and then move it over network via your OS directly.

on a computer, and i can't save ****. I am using a crapping computer and may just download it on a different one.

It looks like the folder you selected can't be used as a save destination. It probably is special

How would I select a file for the proper destination, its something with the direct as seen in the error log. I'll continue working on it.
