Is there a way to convert all elements into a voxel model?

I know the other way around, but was just wondering about this.

I don't think it is possible (yet).

It's not possible currently. The problem of converting elements to voxels is that would lose details (requires voxelization) exactly like it does with meshes.

ah yes i see, but could it be possible to make voxels based on color then aswell, just like voxel to element?
also you mention "currently" so this is an idea you're thinking about.

Yes it would be quite easy actually to voxelize elements... it's just not done (yet) because I'm not sure how useful it would be

Hmm i see your point, however for myself i think this would be awesome to use...
i'd love to switch from element to voxel and back again, mainly due to allterations with the model later on, which voxel mode makes it easier to do

I already love this superb program, but this would be a great addition for people like me

But you are aware that converting elements to voxels and back to elements will never give you same result as before and probably a lot more elements than before right?

Yes, but we can turn culling and optimisation on, yes?
Yeh i'm aware of that happening, however for most of my models this shouldn't affect it too much, most likely just to touch something small up.

btw, any e.t.a. of the new update?

I will probably include this feature in the next update (elements to voxels) but I also need to fix several reported bugs first. I hope next week

Please do this. It would be very useful for me now.. I have a model i made into an element and need it voxels again. Just some details i cant delete from elements. It would help a lot
