Importing into minecraft

Hello, I just got Cubik Studio today, and I am decently skilled in the art of resource packs. I have uploaded custom models before, but when I load these into minecraft, I get a purple/black checkered missing texture block. I would like an explanation on how to import models into minecraft please!
I am able to get the model in and it works when i hold it in my hands, but when placed as a physical block, it gives me the purple/violet. Thanks!

What is the model you're using? You may have created it larger than the 3x3x3 block limit Minecraft has.

Is it a purple cube or your model with purple texture?

Magenta/black checkered texture usually means that the texture reference is either broken or completely missing.
In cubik, you'll need to assign one or more textures using the material manager.

when I hold it in my hand, it is my model with missing texture, but when the block is placed down, it is a megenta/black block.

Is it for a mod if yes you might be missing the blockstate file.
Else it might be something wrong with the blockstate file.
