"PE Entity" export failure

When I select "PE entity" in the model settings and attempt to export as a json file, it says I can only export blocks and items. I looked around the forums and couldn't find a fix for this. You said on the 16th that PE entities were on the todo list, so I assume it's an unfinished feature? I just want to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.

I think the issue is that a PE Entity isn't a viable object in vanilla Minecraft, so you would have to export it as an Optifine item with a JPM format. Sorry if I'm incorrect here, it's my best guess as I'm not particularly familiar with Optifine and PE Entities.

I tried that, but the syntax doesn't match up with the example PE entity file I have. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work.

PE Entity is a planned feature but does not work yet

The only existing way to create models for entities currently is to use JPM format (for Optifine).
