Better Axis Directions/Face Directions
Posted: 10 Jan 2017, 03:32
As a 3D artist familiar with other 3D animation/modelling softwares I sometimes get confused with the axis directions and direction names of faces in this software.
My suggestion is, in order to lessen the confusion of sides and such, have a little axis reference in the bottom corner with the X, Y, and Z, coordinates labeled. In addition to that, when texturing the elements its a pain to have to keep in mind the north, south, east, west, up, and down directions. My suggestion for that would be to keep those names because that's how minecraft does it, but also in parenthesis next to it have a (x,y,z,-x,-y,-z) to make it simpler to understand.
You guys have really made a great software here and I hope you continue to improve it!
Thanks!
