Importing PNG & Element Rotation

I have a 64x64 texture,

When I try to import it ask if fit into world, or block. I select fit into world, and it scales it up.

Having it to fit in true to the texture size would be nice, or configurable options similar to something like creating a new canvas in Photoshop.




I assume its on todo list, if not more rotation options would be helpful. I have a 2x0.4x2 element that I want to rotate and export frames, but I can't rotate the element as if to make it spin. It wants to pivot the element instead of rotate.

I understand there are rotate tools, but as far as I see theres only by 90°, which my specific task right now would require more refined rotations.

What I was thinking is a new panel that could include,
Rotation sliders for X, Y, & Z
Position Sliders for X, Y, & Z
As well as quick buttons like the Rotate 90° by _ Axis

Including other options, similar to art programs
EX: PaintTool SAI

I think you should import the PNG to extrude in "fit block" mode. Then if you want to make if fit 2 blocks, just select all elements and in elements list, you can then scale it on all axis by 2. Then move it.

Version 2.4 will bring however some nice improvements to rotations. ;)
