That is interesting but the import would be limited to blocks.
Is that what you have in mind?
Why would it be useful as import?

Yeah, just blocks would be fine.
As for why it would be useful, although structure blocks have a limited size they can save, it would cut out the need for exporting a schematic file from mcedit for builds that fit into a 32 x 32 x 32 cube. It would allow people to use Minecraft as a voxel tool without the need for mcedit as an intermediary program.

ok, added to the todolist :)

A tutorial to create Minecraft structures and then import them in Cubik would be welcome however (via schematics for the moment) ;)

Done in 2.8 (with wool colors and planks support)
