on a Mac and unable to open the download. Keep getting this error message: "Safari can’t open the file “CubikUpdater” because no available application can open it." Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated

The download should be a zip file. Whilst technically Safari doesn't need to open zip files, your computer in general should be able to open it.

Can you screenshot what's happening?
