Also tried the "sudo chmod -R 755" (found here on the forum) method, in two different ways. No luck.

Please help me make this open up on Mac Ventura 13.0?

Can you try the steps in this post by Aussi3U53r:

If that doesn't work I can only really offer you a refund as it may just be that Mac OS has changed so much since the last update that it just won't run without being overhauled.

Unfortunately, those Terminal instructions did not work. I suppose a refund would be in order.
