Now there's a fine looking rifle that isn't made out of thousands of voxels. Well done.
Maybe you can add a muzzle brake one the barrel.

They must be converted to voxels if you want to export them to Minecraft.

That's not necessarily true. If they are elements, you can make a json out of them, no problem. That's what I do all the time.

With enough skill of course.
Probably gonna be more work, but it will be definitely better for performance.
(Just for your information, the elements are the only supported format by Minecraft and voxels are converted to a bunch of elements. In case of the M40A3 I would say a few thousand)
