Your model uses an unsaved texture. *HELP*  [Solved]

Post by Zexmus » 25 Apr 2019, 02:34

So i just got this program thinking, oh im gonna have a great time making barrels for minecraft oh? Then i get this error message saying "Your model uses an unsaved texture. To proceed, cubik studio exported it as PNG beside JSON. Move it in tour Resourcepack and update the json if necessary."
So it gives me this damn e_particle i have done everything i can to try and fix it, but i have failed. If anyone can get back to me
on a fix that would be great.. thanks.

Basically that error pops up when you have textures in the "Element Material" section that haven't been assigned an actual texture (the error is really for saving a texture when someone has been using the painting tool, but the program doesn't take that in to account when it's just "blank").

Most models should have a valid particle and texture which you can assign by 2x clicking the elements in the "Element Material" list and browsing your computer for the relevant textures.

I would recommend that whatever textures you use should already be in the correct place in a resourcepack, that way Cubik will do a better job of setting the correct paths so you don't have to deal with missing textures.

Anyway, lots of text to try and explain the software/modelling isn't that useful ^.^;

You might just want to watch some tutorials instead:
