setup for modeling

hi am new using this progra , i want to create an animal on cubik, but when i go on model preference, what type do i choose? entity type? object type? can u explain please those types for modeling.

You can leave the standart settings. It's the way i do.

- Block is to create a 3D model for blocks like grass, dirt, etc and can be done for Minecraft java edition only
- Item is to create a 3D model for items like sword, pickaxe, etc for Minecraft Java only
- Entity is to create a 3D model for entities like Mobs for Minecraft Bedrock only (MCPE, Xbox, iOS, Android, W10)
- Optifine is to create a 3D model for entities like Mobs but for Minecraft Java edition with Optifine installed
