I have purchased Cubik and once the registration was complete, I disconnected my computer from the Internet to test if it still starts up and it did start just fine.

I was about to buy Cubik Studio but then I read the TOS and found this: Cubik Studio needs an Internet connection at launch (for registration and updates checking), but a permanent Internet connection is not required.
