Generally just deleting all the files from the folder where the Updater is located, re-downloading the updater from the website, and trying again will fix the issue.

It seems unlikely you've only ever installed the software once (reinstalls of the OS on a computer count as a use of the key). On the reset request form it asks you to agree that you understand that resetting your key may make it unusable. You would have had to agree to that that twice to reach all ...

Please remember that each time you install the software on a new computer, or a computer that has been entirely reinstalled a use will be used. The total amount of allowed uses is more than 2 - as you describe you've used - so it's likely you have installed it on more machines. On the reset request ...

Whilst this should never really be considered the correct way to do things what happens if you right click the Cubik exe and "Run as Administrator"? Do saves work correctly then?

Where it says "path_to_app" you need to change that to the actual location of where the file is.
