Version 2.8 arrives sooner than expected but it brings very cool new things and bug fixes!

You'll be pleased to use a new exporter - Minecraft Model Resourcepack" which will ease modelers workflow - , two new importers "MCPE Entity"and "Minecraft Structure NBT", ton of new features for Mesh edit-mode, a new tool for Voxel edit-mode and plenty of miscellaneous tweaks to ease the work with Cubik. :punk:

Note: For "MCPE Entity" importer, you'll have to rename ".json" to ".mcpe" to be able to import it however (copy and paste the file somewhere before renaming).

:D New features and improvements:
  • :element: :mesh: Replaced "Element" menu by "Objects" menu containing common functions working on both elements, meshes or primitives
  • :element: Elements name only turn red if Model property has "block" or "item" selected in Minecraft tab
  • :mesh: Revamped the Mesh edit-mode "..." menu
  • :mesh: Implemented many new functions for meshes similar to the ones for elements (such as rename, hide, show, lock, unlock, clone, resize, scale, set position, move, rotate, ...)
  • :mesh: New functions to load/save/copy/paste mesh texture
  • :mesh: Moved button to add custom mesh from menu to tools so importing a custom mesh in Mesh edit-mode is way faster than before
  • :mesh: Voxelization is done on selected meshes only (if nothing selected, all meshes are voxelized as before)
  • :mesh: New path parameter in Preferences to select where meshes are located so "Add custom mesh" will directly point to that folder
  • :voxel: Improved Minecraft voxels palette (used by importers)
  • :paint: Added new Paint tool "Noise" which fill clicked zone with random shades of color
  • :preview: Added default camera position for display settings
  • :preview: Changed default skin to more neutral one
  • :preview: Show floor on 3rd person view in Preview edit-mode
  • :import: :voxel: New Minecraft Structures NBT importer to voxels
  • :import: :element: New MCPE Entity importer (Usable with mobs and skins)
  • :import: :cubik: New LNK importer to follow Windows shortcuts (for Windows in Cubik browser only)
  • :export: :element: New Minecraft ResourcePack Exporter (ZIP) containing only the current model replacing glass and white_stained_glass
  • :export: :mesh: Added a message while exporting to OBJ
  • :export: :mesh: Added an error message when exporting to OBJ if model don't have any element, voxel or mesh
  • :cubik: Prompt user to save in case of modifications when menu Open/Merge/Recent file is selected
  • :cubik: Added new icon in Cubik browser for .schematic and .nbt
  • :cubik: Added new icon in Cubik browser for .cubik files
  • :cubik: Bigger default Cubik browser dialog
  • :cubik: New Cubik browser icons (Icons8)
  • :cubik: Less restrictive filter in Cubik browser
  • :cubik: Remember last values used for "Move" and "Scale" dialogs
  • :cubik: Saves window position on close (Windows only)
  • :cubik: Modified message displayed after first registration
:3 Bugs:
  • Fixed bug when converting voxels to elements if an atlas texture with same name already exists (appends a number to the texture atlas name in this case)
  • Fixed Ctrl+S shortcut which will always be triggered even when cursor is in Input field
  • Fixed bug with "All types" in Cubik Browser
  • Fixed bug when importing some JSON models
  • Fixed bug: Elements turn red only if non rotated element is out of world bounds (same as Minecraft)
  • Fixed bug with Voxel extrude tool which did not work when voxel model has a odd size
  • Fixed bug with dark text in AboutBox when Light app skin selected

On dark mode, selected element(s) cannot be found. Cuz it's same with unelected color. Also some features are like this is dark mode. Please fix that.

And also add multiple bones support for mcpe.
And make a menu or list that shows mcpe entities, and able to import from it. Not from external.

OMG the new Flood zone option will be my new favorite tool to use to make my models more detailed, THX so much for adding it.

Could you add option to export texture in the texture folder?
And animation?

By the way... What is "EARLY ADOPTER"?

after this update i can't open cubik studio anymore, please fix as fast as possible becuase me and my team have a lot of work to do, thanks.

Press Alt key when opening Cubik so the window position is not loaded.
